As most of you know by now, former WWE tag-team champion Evan Bourne is currently serving a 60-day suspension for violating WWE's Wellness Policy for the second time in less than three months.
There are numerous people backstage at RAW today who are under the impression that Evan Bourne will soon be done with WWE. As of right now,no official decision has been made but most are leaning towards him not returning to the company.
It should also be noted that Bourne's latest suspension was for something "completely unrelated" to the first one.
Triple H will return on next week's RAW Supershow to give a "formal job evaluation" to Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis to determine if he will keep the job or be terminated.
- WWE announced on RAW tonight that Chris Jericho and Mick Foley will be in the Royal Rumble main event.
Jericho finally spoke on RAW tonight and said that the world as we know it will end on Sunday at the Rumble.
After losing to R-Truth on tonight's RAW Supershow, The Miz earned the #1 spot in this Sunday's 30-man Royal Rumble main event.
- As seen on tonight's RAW Supershow, Kane chokeslammed Zack Ryder through the stage and the former United States Champion was taken away in an ambulance.
WWE is going with the storyline that Ryder has suffered a broken back.
There was talk a few weeks back of keeping Ryder off TV for a few weeks and this appears to be his temporary exit from the storylines.
During a commercial segment on Raw tonight promoting the Royal Rumble match this Sunday night, WWE noted that this year, for the first time, all WWE superstars will be elegible to particiapte in the Royal Rumble match.
What makes this interesting is that a graphic of CM Punk was then shown, which means that even major title holders will be able to compete in the Rumble match.
After the TV broadcast of Raw finished last night, John Laurinaitis booked CM Punk in a WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler to happen immediately. CM Punk eventually beat Ziggler with a Go To Sleep.
As Punk was celebrating his win, Kane’s music hit and he made his way down to the ring. As he was halfway down the ramp, John Cena rushed Kane from behind and exchanged blows with the Big Red Machine. Cena eventually hit him with an Attitude Adjustment to send the Phoenix crowd home happy.
WWE Monday Night RAW will be in Cleveland, Ohio on March 12th, and local advertising for the event notes that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be appearing.
It was pointed out by WWE sources that there was no Twitter mentions or graphics during last night’s RAW Supershow. Apparently that was not by accident and some feel that WWE may have had a change of heart regarding the social networking site.
